Setting the Tone.

August 16, 2020

Your guests will get a glimpse into your big day, before even stepping foot inside your venue. Most brides dream of that special day for many years – pinning pins on Pinterest, window dress shopping, checking out venues, and more. Yes, brides want the perfect day for them and their spouse to look back on for many years, but let’s be honest as well, brides also want to knock the socks off their guests. They want to dazzle them from start to finish with every tiny detail. So where does it actually start? Long before the actual wedding day. The first impression guests will receive of the big day will be the Save the Dates, or the actual invitation itself. Some brides fly past this detail – as long as the guests are invited, they’ll show up, right? However, a flippant, casual invitation gives a first impression – whether you want it to or not. The real question is for brides, how do you want the first impression of your wedding day to be? In our opinion, there is nothing more “wowing” and statement-making than a gorgeous piece of stationary, with a gorgeous envelope sealed shut by a dainty wax seal. It is something that few guests will forget, and they will definitely show up to the wedding expecting it as well to be gorgeous. A wedding invitation suite that “wows” the guests, is a wedding that guests will look forward to with anticipation. It shows the bride cares, not only for the beauty of her wedding, but also about them – that she took the time to pay attention to the extra detail that is specifically for them. So, while we recommend spending time and great detail on your wedding invitation suite, we also recommend tailoring it to you! You can set the tone not only by your time and attention, but also by giving guests a glimpse into the style of your wedding as well. We offer many different styles of templates: modern, classic, timeless, bohemian, contemporary, and more! Choose a template that will mimic the style of your wedding day, and then customize it even more with background colors, custom watercolor florals that match your bouquet, wax seals, ribbon, and more. Your guests will use this image of your invitation while picturing your wedding date, and it will be the impression they carry with them all the way to their seat. Setting the tone of your wedding day starts with your wedding invitation stationary, and we would love to make it a perfect first impression. XOXO

At the beginning of our 2021 planners is a question. (Or several.) The question asks for a word for the year - a word that will challenge you and drive you. For Larissa, this word is dedication.
On our blog this morning you can read all about why she chose this word, and how this word will prayerfully impact her 2021 year.
